About His Image Performing Arts
His Image Performing Arts was created with a vision to offer something deeper than traditional dance training — a place where strong technique meets genuine faith, and where every dancer is seen, known, and equipped to reflect Christ through her art.
-Our Mission
Founder & Director, His Image Performing Arts
I've been dancing since I was 3 years old. What started as a love for creativity put to music became something much deeper when I began to understand dance as an act of worship — a way of reflecting the image of the God who created me to move.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching and mentoring young dancers in church ministry and teaching at other studios, and I have kept seeing the same thing: girls who were technically talented but didn't fully know who they were or why they were dancing. That gap is what His Image was born to fill.
I started this studio because I believe that the most powerful thing we can give a young woman is not just a pirouette — it's a foundation. A deep knowing that she is made in His image, that her gifts are for His glory, and that how she carries herself on and off the stage matters.
I am so honored to be starting this journey with our founding families. This is just the beginning.
— Ella, Founder & Director
THE VISION
After years of dancing and teaching, I felt a growing conviction: there wasn't a dance studio in the area that combined rigorous technique with genuine, Bible-based mentorship for girls. Most programs focused on one or the other. I wanted both.
THE NAME
"His Image" comes from Genesis 1:27 — that every person is made in the image of God. I want every dancer who walks through our doors to leave knowing that truth about herself, not just knowing how to dance.
AUGUST 2026
His Image Performing Arts opens its doors in Chapel Hill, TN for its inaugural season. Classes begin for girls ages 3–18, with a curriculum built from the ground up to integrate technical excellence and faith formation.
Faith comes first
Dance is a gift from God — and we treat it that way. Scripture, prayer, and worship are woven into every class, not added on as an afterthought.
Excellence is an act of worship
We train with intention and discipline — not to perform for applause, but because giving our best is how we honor the One who gave us the ability.
Every girl is seen
Every dancer in this studio matters, is known by name, and is encouraged to be a better dancer AND have a better relationship with God.
Dance is for others
Our Company dancers perform at local outreaches and community events — because the arts are most powerful when they're used to serve, not just to showcase.
Registration is open for the 2026–2027 inaugural season. Classes begin August 2026 in Chapel Hill, TN. Spots are limited — we'd love for your family to be one of our founding families.
